DESIGN - BLENDER 3D MODELING 1

Learn how to get started designing and model in 3D with Blender, the 'Swiss army knife" of art & design softwares. This popular, open-source software, is capable of producing everything from complex 3D models and renderings, architectural (Arch-Viz) models, visuals and renders, 2D & 3D animations, video editing, motion graphics, even full length award-winning films. At first glance, Blender's UI can be daunting for a first time user, but we will teach you how to understand the Blender interface and its toolsets, focusing at first on the most important elements and workspaces, and progress from there - depending on a student's interests and goals. Additional sessions working with Blender can progress into more advanced concepts, such as applying materials to your models, renderings, lighting and essential node workflows for procedural materials. Utilizing the latest version of Blender software, these online class sessions will introduce you to the interface, toolset, navigation and all the necessary steps to create 3D models and more. Class includes a pdf of Blender command 'hot keys,' useful modeling information, navigation information and more.
